Your beliefs are one of the most powerful forces that you have in you. It is imperative to understand their power and how to use to your advantage when you go to a health problem.
There are some beliefs, I had when I submitted my treatment were useless or even harmful to my health. One of the beliefs, I've had was that I had cancer, so I will die. I could support this belief with examples of many members of the family and friends who had died due to cancer and to a much larger scale, there are statistics on cancer world nation and wide offshore.
I recently read somewhere that if you think you are going to die of a disease, then you and if you believe that you survive illness, that you want. But what exactly is a belief? A belief is assumed. A belief is a thought keep and deep trust in something. Beliefs are buried deep in the subconscious so they trigger automatic reactions and behaviour. We rarely question beliefs we hold truths.
Robert Anton Wilson models the spirit as having two main parts. a thinker and a standard. It suggests that the thinker is extremely flexible and can choose to believe almost anything. It might be thought that being healthy is hard or either healthy is easy. The important link here is that what think thinker, the prover proves.
A great analogy to understand beliefs is that of a table. If imagine you that the table the crowning your faith, for example, "I think that I am smart." You will find examples of your life to save this belief. What are your plateau rises on legs. If you remember a time when you scored in a test or examination or a time that you have been powerful praise. It goes well for negative beliefs. Take the belief that "I can't do it." Your subconscious will seek examples in support of this belief, so that you remember a time when you could be a complicated task, or a time when you struggled to control something. These examples will be used in support of your faith.
The fact is that we can find examples in support of any belief. Even for those who can, he has been a moment in your life before you learned to drive a car, or until you have learned to read, or even on foot (I have young children and I am aware of these challenges every day) and for the less able people there is always something you succeeded to achieve the same if it was a small accomplishment, such as brushing teeth this morning, or having yourself dressed.
It is a simple and illustrative way of understanding the beliefs in the human nervous system. Our beliefs are very powerful and help us to get a sense of certainty in an unpredictable world. Our beliefs are so powerful that we often do same question that they are not necessarily "Trues".
The magic behind our beliefs is that once we have a belief, our unconscious mind will everything in its power to find and create even more support for this belief.
An example of this and a very strong case for the power of our beliefs is the placebo effect. Belief is a powerful drug even though the treatment itself is not proven.
Placebos can improve the condition of the patient simply because the person is convinced that it would be beneficial. Belief is powerful in the placebo effect. A person believes that they will receive treatment, it is likely that they will be an advantage.
It has been shown that placebo have measurable; physiological effects for example, when participants are told that they have taken a stimulant, placebo can accelerate the heartbeat, increase blood pressure and improve the speed of response. Opposite physiological effects are also true when participants are told that they have taken a sleep producing drugs.
Take a few minutes and really believe in what are your beliefs about your life that you feel challenged in a zone. Some will be health, for others, it will be relations and for others, it may be money. Explore your beliefs and write them, then take unnecessary or negative beliefs and decide on the belief that empower you and help you achieve what you want in the area of your life. Then, find examples which will support your new beliefs.
I took a very important decision on my belief that I was going to die of cancer. I decided I was going to be a survivor and live a long and healthy life. I found evidence in support of my belief again by finding stories of people who had overcome the chances and have survived cancer and dedicating my life to discover strategies that I could use to support this belief.

Fortunately my background and interest lies in human development and with a lot of desire legitimate and incredible support from family and friends, I slowly but surely recovered my way back.
