Grieving and creativity

Any parent facing the prospect of losing a child is one of the darkest, saddest place imaginable. Faith, friends, and medical assistance all seem to bring comfort and of course they do, but nothing takes more far reality you fixing in the face. Your child has need to be strong and make the final months of living pleasant and soothing as possible.

My husband and I have asked our teenage son that he would like to do like cancer dug his way through his body. Always positive and gifted with a happy disposition reply amaze us. He wanted no talk about death and dying but rather focus on the life and creativity. He is confident about its final destination and wanted the rest of his journey of joy for everybody.

On its wish list was to paint all thresholds for window, see a second amber liquid planted in the front garden and to complete the wall brick garden space, it was designed. These numerous seems strange choices for an athlete gifted, academic and musician. He wanted the flooded House of light and music. He asked that we issue an open invitation to friends to join him for meals and while he was up to it, a game of table tennis.

It is his commitment pursues these activities until 48 hours prior to leave this world. Completed brick and gave instructions for the type of plants in the garden. Window thresholds were also completed. He encouraged his brother and sister to express their feelings through their chosen fields. For one, it is music (14) and other fashion and design (16).

His legacy except dynamic faith was located in the physical beauty, which he left behind him. Flowered garden and in the weeks immediately following his death in family, we have galvanized into action. New beds have been unearthed and planted in the colours of his favourite football team. Fragrant plants have been added and now 24 years later, I am beautiful colors which are a constant reminder of his hope to leave the world better and nice for his having part of it.

Wisteria meanders on a tree, gardenias spread their exotic fragrance and the riot of Geraniums reds and Violette bougainvillea dazzle the senses. In hindsight, we're all worked by grief significantly and creative.

Fashion and design skills our daughter he saw win 3rd in the State of NSW in his school exams final. To this day she designs and creates and passes on his passions to her children, while his chosen career path is in the medical field. Our son, says music and sharing her love for her with his family and friends, but his career was also in the medical field. Two of them are gardeners bright and artist palette of reflected them in their choice of foliage and color, harmony and contrasts, textures and scents.
